In honor of Jamia’s 13th Birthday coming up on August 21st we, JamiaNashFans.Com, will be counting down the days with her with all sorts of memories and interactive activities.

5 DAYS LEFT Yet another day has passed and we’re left with only 5 days until the big day! We’ll be celebrating the number 5 as representation of the 5 letters in her name. J-A-M-I-A. I want all of you fans out there to come up with a nice creative acronym for the letters of Jamia’s name or think of adjectives that describe her (or your love for her) that start with the letters J-A-M-I-A! Let’s see what you all can come up with!

6 DAYS UNTIL THE BIG 1-3: 6 SWEET MEMORIES

In honor of Jamia’s 13th Birthday coming up on August 21st we, JamiaNashFans.Com, will be counting down the days with her with all sorts of memories and interactive activities.

6 DAYS LEFT We are getting closer! In just a few more days Jamia will no longer be a child, but a TEEN-AGER… and we’re all excited for her! We’ve watched Jamia grow from a teeny-tiny little 6 year old girl to the beautiful young lady that she is today. Over the years, of course, some things have changed (i.e she’s gotten bigger, her voice has matured). Today we will go down memory lane and look back at six sweet memories from Jamia’s past… most that we will never see again.

#1: BIG voice coming from such a small body! She’s not so small anymore (but still has an amazing voice)!

#2: Remember the missing front teeth? “Two” cute! (Or should I say “Four” cute? Lol)

#3: The twistie ponytails was like her signature hair style. Loved them! No more ponytails for this big girl.

#4: Her big bright sparkly eyes… she’s grown into them.

#5: Her little high pitched voice as the singing voice of UNIQUA (”The Backyardigans“). She no longer sings for the character now that her voice has matured.

#6: MC Lily… the alphabet girl! Remember when Jamia was about 7 years old doing little raps and songs for different letters of the alphabet on Nick Jr.? If not, see two videos below “The Letter T Song” and “The Letter M Rap“.

7 DAYS LEFT Today officially makes ONE WEEK before Jamia’s birthday! In just 7 more days, on Friday August 21st, Jamia will be a teenager! So today, we will celebrate with a JAMIA NASH FANS cake! To the left, is a cake cut into seven pieces for all you JamiaNashFans to enjoy! Tell us, who do you think Jamia should give the first pieces of cake to and why? Or who would YOU give your first pieces to?

JAMIA PERFORMS AT THE “SALUTE TO APOLLO”

Last month on Saturday, July 18th Jamia performed during the “Salute to Apollo” ceremony at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington. In honor of Jamia’s 13th Birthday coming up on August 21st we, JamiaNashFans.Com, will be counting down the days with her with all sorts of memories and interactive activities.

DAY 8 Just 8 more days y’all!!! Today is not just for Jamia, but for ALL you teens out there who need some new positive and fun ways to keep yourselves busy. When you become a teenager, there’s no doubt that some of the things you’re interested in begin to change. Therefore, teens tend to get bored a lot, which sometimes results in them getting into things that they shouldn’t be doing. The best way for teens to stay in line is to keep their days busy and filled with positive activities. What are some cool activities that teens can enjoy doing after school and homework is complete? What do YOU do to stay out of trouble (besides watch TV or surf the net)? Let’s share with fellow teens/teens-to-be.
