The Jamia FANmily, originally named "I Luv Jamia..." Fanlist was started on July 1st 2004 as a part of "Definition Of The Future", Jamia's very first and biggest fansite thus far. The fanlisting was started for one, to add something new to the site and also I thought it would just be good to list all Jamia's fans in one place so that it could be known how much love there is for her. In December 2004 the fanlisting's name was changed to 'The Jamia FANmily' as I thought it was the perfect name since Jamia brings alot of her fans together to the point we become like a fanmily who all share the same amount of love and respect for one person, Jamia!

Who Is Jamia?
Jamia is a young singer/actress who got started back in 2002 after winning the McDonalds Kids Talent Search in ATL. Since then she's been on Apollo and a host of other shows! She's also done some acting on shows such as 'My Wife And Kids' and 7th Heaven! She does the singing voice of Uniqua on the Nick Jr. series called 'The Backyardigans' and along with her little sister Olivia, she sings the hook to a song called 'Black Girl Pain' on Talib Kweli's album 'The Beautiful Struggle'!
