I’d like to announce that Jamia and her management, The Popular Entertainment Group, will be partnering with The Firm (talent management group who’s client list has included Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio) in boosting Jamia’s career! The Group, headed by James Nash (president) and Jason Janifer (vice president), will be teaming with The Firm in taking Jamia’s career as a singer and actress to the next level. Great news! Jamia is a part of an incredible line-up of ladies who will be performing as a part of AARP’s 50th Anniversary celebration. The Songs of Soul & Inspiration concert will take place at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Ga on June 21, 2008. With performances and appearances by Yolanda Adams, Patti Austin, Shirley Caesar, Chaka Khan, Queen Latifah, Dionne Warwick, CeCe Winans, Ann Nesby, Paris Bennett and our very own Jamia, I’m sure it will be a night to remember!!!
