JAMIA TO PERFORM + JOINS A CAUSE!

Friday, October 9th, 2009

On tomorrow, October 10th, Jamia will be performing the “National Anthem” at the Iowa and Michigan college football game taking place at the historic Kinnick Stadium! Jamia will become only the second person in the history of the Kinnick Stadium to perform the anthem LIVE! More information and pictures will come later if available.

Jamia has also just partnered with the McCord Research’s Buruli Ulcer Foundation; a foundation in efforts to help bring more awareness and to help find a cure for Buruli ulcer. Buruli ulcer is a flesh-destroying bacterium that primarily impacts children under the age of 15.

Here’s what Jamia had to say about joining the cause:

I’m so please to join this effort, because I’m a kid, I can relate to how scary it is to be doing a task as simple as getting water from a local river, then getting a disease that can scar your body forever.”

NOTE: I am sorry for not updating the site in so long, but there have been not much to post. I have way too much going on these days to produce my own updates when there is no news. So, if there’s a Jamia fan out there who is willing to help keep the site updated and knows how to, feel free to contact me and we can work something out.
