JAMIA TO PERFORM + JOINS A CAUSE!

On tomorrow, October 10th, Jamia will be performing the “National Anthem” at the Iowa and Michigan college football game taking place at the historic Kinnick Stadium! Jamia will become only the second person in the history of the Kinnick Stadium to perform the anthem LIVE! More information and pictures will come later if available.

Jamia has also just partnered with the McCord Research’s Buruli Ulcer Foundation; a foundation in efforts to help bring more awareness and to help find a cure for Buruli ulcer. Buruli ulcer is a flesh-destroying bacterium that primarily impacts children under the age of 15.

Here’s what Jamia had to say about joining the cause:

I’m so please to join this effort, because I’m a kid, I can relate to how scary it is to be doing a task as simple as getting water from a local river, then getting a disease that can scar your body forever.”

1 DAY LEFT We are finally at the end of the countdown! TOMORROW is Jamia’s BIG DAY GUYS! For day one, I want to ask all of you fans… If you could give Jamia ONE gift for her 13th birthday tomorrow, what would it be? Share your special gift ideas and why you would give her that particular gift! Remember, just ONE special gift!

2 DAYS BEFORE THE BIG 1-3: TWO PEAS IN A POD!

In honor of Jamia’s 13th Birthday coming up on August 21st we, JamiaNashFans.Com, will be counting down the days with her with all sorts of memories and interactive activities.

2 DAYS LEFT IT’S ALMOST HERE! In just TWO more days we will be down to the day we’ve been waiting for. Today is called “Two Peas in a Pod” and we will take a look at some pictures of Jamia and her younger sister Olivia, who is now 9 years old. Jamia and her sister are very close. In 2008 when Jamia appeared on the “Tavis Smiley Show” she spoke about her sister saying “My sister, she loves acting. She’s a really good actor and she cracks me up. I mean, she is so fun to be around and, if you put her on this show, she will crack you up. I mean, seriously.” Olivia is also a singer and aspires to be a star some day. She and Jamia both sang the hook on Talib Kweli’s “Black Girl Pain” in 2004. Look at some pictures of the two sisters together over the years.
